A family favourite for years, this is a chicken, marinated for up to 48 hours in my grandmother’s special blend of herbs and spices and served in on a portion of Lebanese bread with a serving of grilled tomoatoes, pickles, garlic paste and fries. My eldest son’s favourite!!
The word shish comes from the Old Turkish word şiş, meaning “skewer” and tawook means chicken.
