Znoud el Sit in Arabic translates to “out of forearms of a woman.” A silly name I know but I have heard they are so called due to their shape.
This is double cream and ricotta wrapped in crispy dough and drenched in a rose-water syrup. Znoud El Sit are, for me and my guests at home, an irresistible dessert. This homemade recipe takes a lot of time and some dedication, but the end result is so worth it!
